Sprint, Run, Hurdles, Long Jump, Javelin and Shot-Put from age 9 to senior level age groups

Coronavirus Update

Welsh Athletics have published the advice (see notice on the left) advocating that clubs and groups should not be undertaking training, competitive or other related activities during this period.

Cwmbran Harriers will be aligning with this advice.

We will, of course, be updating when further information is available.

About Us

Thank you for taking an interest in Cwmbran Harriers. We welcome children age 9+ who are willing to compete for us on a regular basis.

We are a competing club  and therefore, we are not able to train children purely for recreation or to improve fitness for other sports.

We train on a Tuesday & Thursday 6-7.30pm at Cwmbran Stadium.

At times we have a waiting list in place, especially for the younger age groups.

Please email through the website to enquire about the waiting list.

For additional information, please message our facebook page: Cwmbran Harriers.

Volunteers - Help Needed !

Volunteers are the lifeblood of athletics. They are the everyday heroes who make running competitions, growing talent and providing opportunities possible. Become part of something special, gain skills and help people fulfil their potential... Become a Volunteer.

There are a number of different roles and responsibilities that are available for volunteers entering the sport. In many cases, clubs are desperate for help and assistance from new volunteers and welcome any amount of time and commitment that can be offered to support their activities.  Volunteers are essential for the running of the sport and provide the support network which enables the sport of athletics to function across Wales.

We would love to hear from any Current Coaches, Parents or Athletes who would like to take on a Coaching role at Cwmbran Harriers.

Full support will be given to anyone interested in undertaking the relevant courses, all we ask is for commitment on the 2 evenings a week we train.

We would love to hear from any Parents or Athletes who would like to be involved with Officiating at competitions.

You do not require any qualifications to start Officiating but there are qualifications that can be gained.
